Raw Food Recipe: Crunchy Coleslaw
This coleslaw is great on its own or the perfect accompaniment to another dish.

Ingredients for Crunchy Coleslaw
Ingredients
1/2 a red cabbage
2 carrots
1/4 red onion
1/4 cup of raisins
1/4 cup of pieces of walnuts
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Cold pressed olive oil
Equipment
Sharp knife
Julienne slicer
Mixing bowl

Crunchy Coleslaw
Directions
Cut the red cabbage and red onion into thin strips
Use the julienne slicer to create very thin strips of carrots
Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well
Helps to know
You could of course use white cabbage in this recipe, but I think the contrast of the red and orange just looks stunning

If you fancy extra bursts of sweetness in this recipe, you could add some diced apple for a refreshing treat for your tastebuds
