Using raw foods to connect to your inner self

Raw Food Recipe: Corn Chips

One of my favourite dishes used to be nachos with guacamole. As I believe because you want to follow a raw food lifestyle doesn’t mean you should miss out I knew that there would be a way to upgrade and make a raw version… So here it is:

Ingredients
3 cups of thawed frozen corn
1 yellow pepper finely chopped
¾ cup of ground flax seed
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt
Pinch of black pepper

Equipment
Food processor
Dehydrator

Directions
Combine all ingredients (except the flax meal) in the food processor until well combined
Add the flax meal and process again
Spread the mixture on a non stick baking sheet
Score into triangles
Dehydrate for 10 hours, peel of the baking sheet and place on the mesh trays and dehydrate for a further 4 hours until dry and crunchy

Step 1 – Get your ingredients for the raw corn chips

Step 2 – Place the ingredients in a food processor

Step 3 – Process until well combined

Step 4 – Spread out on a non stick dehydrator sheet

Step 5 – Score mixture into corn chip shape and dehydrate

Step 6 – Once dehydrated – Enjoy
