Ingredients for Get the GLOW Juice
Ingredients
1 cucumber
1 head of celery
1-2 cups of kale
Equipment
Juicer

Helps to know
This juice will help make your skin soft and supple because of the cucumber in it. Cucumber is brilliant for your skin because it is an excellent source of silica. Silica is a trace mineral that contributes to the strength of our connective tissue and it is this connective tissue which holds our body together. Cucumbers are also great because of their high water content – this acts as a diuretic helping to clean and cleanse the body.
Juicy Tip
If this juice is too green for you, you can add some apple. However you may be surprised as the celery really dilutes the ‘green’.

Is that Safe?
“Is that Safe?”

Let's get Juicy!
This was one of the first responses when I told someone that I was about to embark on a 92 day juice feast.
Yesterday I returned from a holiday by the coast. I went with my gorgeous husband and we had an amazing time together, doing what we do best; having fun and adventuring.
Whilst walking through a beautiful wood, minding my own business I heard the words “You need to do the 92 day juice feast”. My first response enlightened was “Huh?”
I then heard those words again “You need to do the 92 day juice feast”. This time when I heard the words, something clicked inside me – Yes this is exactly what I need, right now. Something aligned inside of me and screamed ‘YES!’
I have to say that I’m not a stranger to juicing and have often thought about completing 92, but have not got round to it. In fact the longest I have ever juiced in one time is 2 weeks, so 92 days is going to be an adventure! But that’s good, as I’m good at those…
So today is day 1, I have to say it’s a little odd knowing that if I stick to my plan I will not be eating solid food again until September… But the feeling is So strong that this is So right, that I’m happy to take the first step on this Juicy adventure and see where it takes me…
The 3 most effective and delicious ways to cleanse your body
We all want to feel fresh and clean. We clean our bodies, hair and teeth every day. We make sure that our house, garden and cars are kept in good condition, but when was the last time you thought about cleaning yourself from the inside out?
The key to any cleanse is to simplify. Here are my top 3 ways to add some simplicity to your diet:
- Juice Feast
- Green Smoothie Feast
- Mono Meal Feast
1. Juice Feast
The regular consumption of fresh fruit and vegetable juice is one of the very best gifts that you can give to your body.
Freshly juiced fruits and vegetables give your body an instant boost of nutrients, enzymes, vitamins and minerals in a form that the body can easily assimilate, absorb and digest.
At the most basic level, juicing allows us to add so many more vegetables to our daily diet, and to up the amount of raw food we consume giving the body energy and boosting the immune system, whilst supporting the body’s cleansing process.
2. Green Smoothie Feast
Smoothies are another tasty way to get more fresh fruits and vegetables in to your diet. When the fruits and vegetables are blended they become easy for your body to digest and for the nutrients to be absorbed. They differ from juices in that the fibre remains part of the smoothie.
Green is the key for a cleansing smoothie as Green vegetables, especially green leafy vegetables, contain lots of chlorophyll which is incredibly effective in cleansing our bodies. Chlorophyll can help make our bodies strong, detoxify the liver, can purify and help to rebuild our blood cells.
3. Mono Meal Feast
Mono meals are meals that are made up of a single fruit or vegetable. By eating in this manner it really gives your digestive system a rest, it allows you the chance to reconnect to what true hunger is, it can alleviate cravings and really get you in touch with what foods taste like as you focus on the food as you chew and fully experience the flavours and textures of the food.
Mono meals are one of the best ways for you to get in touch with your body and be able to listen to what it is trying to tell you.
To incorporate these ways of eating into your life you could:
- If you were curious – Replace one meal with either of the three options
- If you were serious – Follow one of the options for an entire day
- If you were on a mission – Follow a cleansing program that incorporates one of the three options
